Micah's Gift

The last couple of days I have had the pleasure of emailing Mary. I have added Micah's Gift to WTRLA's website as a resource. Micah was her 7th child she lost at 7 weeks. Not only will we have the honor of reading Micah's name at the walk on October 9th but Micah and Mya share middle names, Quinn.
Today while Mary was writing Micah's Gifts her daughter Annabelle was also writing. So here is Sophia's name twice today. If you get a chance check out Micah's Gift: http://micahsgift.blogspot.com/

I Wish I Was An Oscar Meyer Wiener

Today I had to stop at a clients on the way to work. So this means I take an alternate route to work. After Mya and I left our clients we went on our way to daycare. On the border of Monrovia and Arcadia we came across the Oscar Meyer Wiener Mobile.

Mya quickly tells me "look hot dog" I told her "yes baby that is the Wiener Mobile"

So that was the highlight of my morning. I got to see something that brought me back to childhood. When I was younger my mom scored Josh, Molly, Tim and I some wiener whistles. That is the life of being a child of someone that works in a grocery store. We always use to fight over who's whistle is who's. Ahh the innocence of childhood.

Faces of Loss, Faces of Hope

Today I was asked to help Faces of Loss, Faces of Hope with welcoming new mother to the page. I find this to be a wonderful thing. Since starting Walk to Remember, Los Angeles, I have made it my goal to help who ever I can. Now this is just one more step in doing so. I am excited to join the team.
