This is a hard one. I don't really read much.

About Me

Cassie Beserra: LOS ANGELES, Ca, United States; My name is Cassie Beserra. I married my best friend Eddie on August 29, 2004. I have always said we are better at being friends than being husband and wife. I am also a mother of twins. One in heaven and one here with me. My daughter Sophia Rene passed away on March 11th, 2008 at 20 weeks gestation due to complications from Turners Syndrome, Hydops and Cystic Hygroma. She put up an amazing fight which I personally believe saved her twin sister Mya's life. Sophia and Mya were born on June 30th, 2008. Mya has been my rock. Though she does not know it she has given me the drive to keep going. That little girl does nothing but amaze me and I love her to pieces for that. I started Walk to Remember, Los Angeles in memory of my daughter Sophia Rene Beserra in May 2010. My hope is to build Walk to Remember, Los Angeles to be a place for family and friends who have lost a child as I have to celebrate thier children as they feel necessary.

Eddie

My best friend and the love of my life. Eddie always keeps it real, speaks his mind and could care less what people say. I wish I could be more like him (in some ways).

Sopha Rene

Sophia Rene, my twin A. My Sweet Sophia, my little fighter. At 11 weeks gestation we found out that our twin a was not only a girl but she was ill. She put up an amazing fight. I never gave up hope on her. As any mother who has been in my shoes thinks there is always hope. I never gave up hope on my little girl. Sophia has made me the person I am today and I can not thank her enough for that. There is never a day I do not think of my Sweet Sophia. I love you!

Mya Quinn

Mya Quinn, my twin B. We have had so many pet names for this little girl. Some to include "Little Mama" "Mya Muchacha" "Panda Bear" and "Wild Woman" Mya is my rock. This little girl keeps me going. Watching one of my little girls grow up has been the most amazing experiance of my life. I love to see the innocence that childhood has though the eyes of Mya.
